I 'just' turned 18 back in January and since then I have been stressing about life and how drastically things have changed for me now that I am considered an adult but I am also treated like a kid.ย
I have tried to enjoy my last summer before going off to college, but even then I am worried about that as if I wont have the same motivation I did in high-school. Even then, college is where it matters as this will surely dictate the directory of my future. As much as I would have liked to have taken a year off to enjoy my freedom more I know that I would never want to go back and that is something I don't want either.ย
Once I am finished with college I wonder how the housing market will be or how the economy will be in general. I want to have my own place and not stay at my parents for too long as I wish to not be a burden on their money. I want to live, not survive.
Has anyone else been through this? or are going through this now like me?ย Is there any advice I could receive about any of the topics I have listed, I appreciate any and all commentary!ย

I'll be realistic, that feeling is going to get worse and worse, and you're not going to like seeing things change, but you'll just have to put up with it.
You will probably find situations or problems where you'll feel too young to solve them, but remember that people don't mature because they want to, people mature because time forces them to.
I can only wish you luck, and tell you that many of us are going through this.

I canโt really give advice from my own experience since Iโm 14 but my sister is 24 and what she did is she worked in customer service but in her free time she did stuff for Uber and Amazon and I know that brought in lots of extra money which made it easier for her to get an apartment, so I hope that helps a bit!
yeah that does help a bit! ( หถหแหหต ) i have already been saving and doing stuff in my free tine to gain more income, its more or less the fact that i'm afraid i wont have any me time. especially with how companies in my town hardly give you days off.
