Tale about a Little Man

Hello everyone! You might've been wondering, where have I been? I wrote this tale

God once created a Little Man

God loved Little Man

God adored Little Man

God did everything in his power to make Little Man feel comfortable

Little Man wanted more

Little Man asked for wings

God gave Little Man wings

Little Man flew too high

Little Man touched the sun

Little Man's wings burned

Little man fell

He crashed into the earth

He shattered into pieces

God watched in silence

He could not save him

Little Man was no more

Little Man was gone

God wept alone

The world grew darker

God's tears became rain

The land flooded

Inundation now dominates Earth

Life's essence diminished

God's lamentation and melancholy

It deepened

His being now metamorphosed into a shadow

Life confined to desolation

The cosmos succumbed to a gelid state

Celestial bodies now dead and expired

Eternal night descended before Us

Cosmic winds whispered doom

Quo vadis, God?

Nihility claimed its conquest

Despair reigned supreme

Silence pervaded

An oppressive and weighty quietude

The silence was animate

The silence was a voracious specter

It slithered through the boundless void

Insinuated itself into every crevice

Unseen gnawed at the peripheries of existence

Whispered broad promises of unending torment

It seemed to breathe

With a ponderous, labored rhythm

It consumed every sound

Every vestige of hope it consumed

Transforming into a seething spectral maw

It would never relent

The cosmos collapsed

Time is immeasurable

Celestial orbs being subsumed by silence

Galaxies spiraling into the infinite quagmire of non-existence

Reality just quivered

Awaiting the final terminus was silence holding its breath

An abyss so profound and impenetrably dark

We are dead
