same complaint as the second book, a lot of the stories & lessons are pretty much the same but even worse so here. the whole "you have to be happy for x or else their life will have been for nothing!" (as present in the ii comedian & iii the sister) moral is very tired tbh.

initially that was going to be my only commentary but the last mini-story WRECKED me. (hover over spoiler tag) i was rooting so hard for reiji and nanako and the news of her death hit me so hard i audibly went "WHAT" like wtf why would the author do this to me.
