Hey SpaceSleepers (59): Birthday Costumes

Today was my friend's birthday so I decided to eat as dressed up as I can (which is not that much since I don't know how to accessorize) because I don't want to underdress. I had to learn how to do makeup because I've done it so rarely that I can count the number of times on my fingers. I spent two hours yesterday in front of a mirror trying to figure out how to put on makeup that looked decent but because of how extravagant the makeup looked, I ended up having to put on the wig just to balance it out anyways. My mom was very shocked when I finished it because to her I looked completely different which is so interesting to me considering I didn't think the same. Perhaps looking at my face all the time causes me to just instantly see right through it.

Anyways, we went to Coney Island today so that the birthday boy could ride The Cyclone with the other people who were interested in the party. I sat out because I don't particularly like rollercoasters myself, but it was nice to know that everyone had fun. Honestly, I kept having to remind myself that I was wearing a wig and not a hat since I have the tendency to take off my hat and accessories whenever I eat, but I do think I would have looked quite silly with my performance-like makeup and wigcap eating my dinner. It was really fun considering it felt like I was wearing a cosplay of a silly little anime character since that kind of stuff never makes me really feel like a girl or anything, it just makes me feel like I'm doing some strange LARP (08/05/2024).
