get ready this is long
okay so basically this guy from a small town gets accepted to a college in a big city aka new york and he goes there and hes rooming with these three total losers i mean they party all day long they bring girls home theyre loud and inconsiderate and they pick on him WAYY too much bc he is quiet and just wants to study. he has to study because if he doesnt get good grades he gets kicked out of the school. but the guys messing with him is messing with his grades. BTW the guys are ugly and hes cuteish and hes super sweet and naive and friendly and always saying hi to people but theyre rude to him and the guys hes with are rude to him bc hes naive. they party all day long bc their parents pay for their school but the othr guy actually has to work for it. anyways he has this class and he meets this girl and he thinks shes cute and they talk and then it turns out this girl is dating the teacher of that class but he treats her like crap like a little pet and hes her little secret and she hates it and she really cares for him but he only wants her to F her but she stays with him because she loves him and maybe she gets good grades bc of it but im not sure. also the girl is dirt broke and works at a nightclub but doesnt get a lot of money. so the roomates think that if they kick the cute guy out it will be better so they talk to the dean and make so many lies abt the guy and get him kicked out so he has to live at this veternarian business and also work there. so he lives there and then the guys try being all super nice to him and stuff only because they want to have parties at the vet place because they cant bring alcohol into the dorms anymore. so the guy lets them have a party there and the roomates also use drugs to get girls to get with them because theyre so ugly theywouldnt do it otherwise.
anyways the cute guy (main character) asks the girl out to go to a concert and she says yes. but the concert is at 930 and the party the roomates are having at the vet place is the SAME night. and the girl needs to have a house to apply for financial aid but she doesnt have a house because she doesnt have a job to get a house so shes applying for jobs and shes at this convinience store and the guy says she cant work the night shift bc its dangerous for a girl, but guess what, one of the roomates is at the same store at the same time getting beer. so he intervines and says some stupid stuff defending her and asks her to come to the party, but he says its a fundraiser so she agrees because the date isnt until later. she gets there and another roomate is hitting on her and tries to make her take drugs. the cute guy then gets to the concert and she doesnt come but then ig he came back and she was about to od in the bathroom so he takes her to the hospital and makes her sleep in his room. he talks to the same roomie that hit on her last night and he apparently doesnt know what happened, but the cute guy knows he drugged her.so he takes her to the hospital and on her sheet it had the teachers number to call if something happened. and so then the cute guy finds out there together and also he ends up telling one of the roomies in conversation.
when she wakes up cute guy is being super nice to her and stuff and then shes talking about the teacher like omg hes my bf and i love him completely ignoring the fact the cute guy likes her because she thinks the teacher loves her back. the roomies blackmail the teacher to get them good grades because they know abt their relationship and when cute guy goes to talk to the teacher the teacher thinks he only wants to talk about the blackmailing thing but he doesnt because the cute guy is honest and so he says i dont care what you think and leaves. i didnt sya it but before the girl gets fired from her job. and the cute guy goes in his old dorm with the roomies bc he needs to get books but instead he throws away the drug pills and replaces them with pills that help u study. so the roomies go to the club and find out that its not working they come home and the find out it was the cute guy. anyways, the cute guy gets flowers and says their from the teacher but there actually from the cute guy but anyways. so i skipped ahead but basically the roomies said to the cute guy that the girls in new york are just slurts and they sleep around for drugs or whatever, so the cute guy thinks the girl is like that too but its really just the girls the roomies hang out with. so the girl is out with the teacher shopping and shes thinking about how nice the cute guy was to her and she is like f this im leaving. she doesnt actually say that but thats what shes thinking probably. so she runs back to the vet to see the cute guy and he tells her that he cant be with her because shes dating the teacher and blah blah blah and then they kiss and its all good. so the roomies one of them goes to jail, one of them takes too many drugs and is like brain dead or smth, and the other one had a hair accidentor smth and is even uglier now and the teacher got arrested for having an affair with a 17 year oldbut i almost stopped watching in the beginning because it was so sad how bad the cute guy was being treated like u dont even know they were doing crazy pranks and being crazy and i felt so bad. but i didnt really like the movie because it was like making me think abt how bad it could actually be like i could be broke in college and get drugged and get blackmailed or get lies told abt me that get me kicked out of my dorm like its crazy out there and there are really really bad people and its crazy to think abt how bad ppl can actually beand i could also have psycho roomates
the movie is called Loser (2000) and i wanted to watch it bc mena suvari was in it and i recognized her from sugar and spice!! i love that movie sm!!
