I finally could go out of the city and visit the island a bit, we didn't get really far but it was still really pretty. Also my headphones broke but my dad is gonna give me one of his old ones so it's okay. And i took some pics too.
Here's some interesting things i found there that I've never seen in France (I'm quite easily impressed by what i find in nature so these might seem mundane).
A small piece of dry coral i found in the sand (about 2/3 of my thumb)
A shellfish cemetery????
A coconut (I've never seen a coconut naturally fall on the beach before moving out don't mind me)
A small shellfish (about 1/2 of my thumb)
A VERY SMALL shellfish (about half the size of my pinky nail, i can't express it properly through text but i was really excited, i almost wanted to keep it but i would've broke it eventually since i have nowhere to put it)
Baby crab (about the size of my thumb nail, there was a whole army crawling in the sand)
I honestly don't know what these are, but they seem to be the same species and grow near the water in the sand, I'll make some further research
A big piece of a broken shellfish (about 3/4 of my hand)
What looks like a tiny hermit crab (the eyes and a claw are visible)
Now the views i got on the road.
The beach and islands view from the top of a hill
The camera doesn't give enough credit to how beautiful the mountains actually look there
I forgot to mention the dirt is also red in some places due to the iron, just like Australia, which makes sense because of their proximity
Sunset + haze on the way back home
I think that's all for now, we've been stuck in the city since may due to the current political events and the roads being closed, but everything is slowly going back to normal.
