like this sounds stupid ive been so so many concerts recently and i love love love it but i miss how it felt when i was a kid. like i went to see bmth in january and i had such an incredible time but i didnt have that whole day excitement like i used to. i feel this with small shows tho. i saw cassyette and she was INCREDIBLE and so were her supports. same when i went to see frank turner and when i saw the lottery winners. clearly i just need to go to small gigs again because the stress of getting tickets to big concerts is crazy difficult
i miss gigs

i totally agree!!! i think smaller shows are so much better, everything about bigger shows is just so unappealing to me. i also saw bmth in january and it was cool but when you're just sitting there in a huge arena watching the band so far away it doesn't feel the same. not to mention the crazy prices and the fight to get tickets (although bmth was pretty cheap). the intimacy of smaller shows is so nice and it feels so much more real when they're actually right there in front of you.

fr fr!!! i got super lucky with bmth - went with my flatmate. we bought tickets literally 3 days before we went for just over £50 each i think? but smaller shows just have that intimacy that makes it all sososo much nicer

yeahh, i went to a smaller gig the other day and literally met 12/13 members of the 3 bands that were playing after the show like you don't get that kind of stuff with bigger gigs!!
