I'm planning on seeing PTV again next year, so far I've gone this year and back in 2022. I've been listening to them since 2012 so seeing them live has been so important to me, although I didn't have too good of a time at the last one. I was right in front of the mosh pit so may've been my fault but the whole time everyone was pushing each other to get to the front, even though that obviously wasn't going to work. We kept having this dude crowd surf by us which is obviously fine, but the group of people around me were all female and none of us could lift him properly, which made it seem like we were dropping him but genuinely none of us could hold him up lol. Like one time he was right above me and almost got dropped on me, luckily some guy held him up in time but yeah scary lol. Like I know I should expect all this from a PTV concert but I just think for the future I need to avoid the mosh pit at all costs. I was thinking about getting VIP next year, so I have a better chance of getting to barrier and less chance of being as squashed as I was.
I mean when I went in 2022, I was technically by barrier but I was right at the corner which was a lot nicer. Like I was practically right by Tony and both Vic and Jaime came over multiple times to say hi to us. So basically I'm hoping next year will be a lot more stress free lmao. My other issue is that I haven't found anyone so far to go with, so far I've been going by myself. Which is fine but if I want to get VIP and all that it would be better if I had someone with me in case I need to leave the queue momentarily or whatever else.
Anyways whoops just realised how much I wrote, I doubt anyone's going to read all this but it's cool to have a place where I can just speak my mind :))

i saw them in 2022 and april this year, tbh i think the crowd always kind of sucks at their shows?! for me i don't think i'll see them again, i love them but i'm happy with having seen them twice and i don't want to have to deal with that type of crowd again. maybe it would be worth getting vip if you really really care about seeing them but for me i'd rather not. they seem to not know any basic etiquette all they care about is being at the barrier (and the pit sucked at their show in april! these emos dont know how to mosh!!!)
idk i think i went a bit off topic, but if you see them again next year i hope you have a good experience!!!

just out of curiousity which venues did you go to? Cuz this year I went Cardiff then Birmingham in 2022. Anyways but I do really want to see them live again but i think if i do get VIP I can get to the front easy and all that and at least I'm less likely to get caught up in the mosh pit, but yeah I mean the moshing wasn't so much the moshing you'd expect from a PTV show xD

i saw them in london both times! 2022 was kentish town which was pretty good but 2024 was alexandra palace which is famously a nightmare venue (horrible to get in and out of and poorly designed) which really didn't help improve my experience xd
I hope you can get VIP and have a good experience then :D
(also, wasn't the 2022 birmingham show the show where someone shit in the mosh pit...?)
