Note: This is just my current opinion and might change in the future.
SpaceHey is a throw back to when social media was about being social and seeing genuine media not what "social media" is now which is nothing but algorithms and political and clickbait low effort slop and not interacting with other people. Modern social media is all about interacting with a computer/algorithm and trying to outmatch people in a rat race with more followers and views. SpaceHey seems to be what social media was and should always be, fun and carefree and not an extension of corporate monopolies who just want their products and other things promoted online and the internet altered for their benefit and altered for the greedy politicians in office. All in all SpaceHey is a nice website and hopefully it stays true to its message in the future of being good ole fashioned social media with no algorithms and all the useless nonsense that make modern social media so boring and tiring. anyways that's just my current opinion nothing more than that.

i agree!! i think its because spacehey is a passion project made with care instead of just a way to profit. when you try to squeeze as much money from customers as possible and trying to please shareholders you just turn away those customers.
yeah that's what ive been saying the difference between SpaceHey and mainstream social media is that modern social media is about pleasing shareholders while good authentic experiences are few and far between. It's sad but at least we have places like SpaceHey where stuff isn't completely bad.

I really couldn't be part of what social media was b4 it seemed like a big complicated and soulless pit of announces trying 2 convince you 2 desire a life of overconsumism, but even though I'm not familiarized with a community like this, I still feel like this is a more "human" type of interaction between it's users.
The mere fact of having "friends" instead of "followers" just feels more in touch with others.
I wish modern social media wasn't what it became now.
