Deadpool and Wolverine

OOOOOOOO THIS MOVIE !!!!!!!! 

I was incredibly skeptical about the entire thing, because 1. I was not a fan of the first Deadpool movie :/ it just wasn't really my thing, and 2. Wolverine is such a serious character, I was scared they were gonna weirdly skew his character in the way they did with Thor, the complete character flip between Dark World and Ragnarok (don't get me wrong, Ragnarok was great, however it just felt super out of place for the character and confused me heavily). BUT MY SKEPTICISM WAS SOOOO UNNEEDED !!! It truly was so perfect, the confirmation of the closing of the original Logan character, the search for the replacement, the "worst Logan", IT WAS SO FUN AND GOOD AND I REALLY HAD ONE OF THE BEST TIMES EVER WATCHING IT IN THEATERS !!

I absolutely adored the cameos, even though I wasn't too familiar with Gambit, and I have still have yet to watch the Blade films, and I am not a fan of Elektra's movie, it was still so awesome to see them in this movie. JOHNNY !!!!!!! I grew up heavily with the original Fantastic 4 movie, and seeing Johnny was so, so fun. This movie truly revived my love for F4 and the original X-men movies, despite their obvious flaws, they were some of the only super hero movies that really made me feel like I was watching a super hero movie. My love and interest in super hero movies really died once 2017 time rolled around. They just didn't feel like the ones I grew up with. They were much too serious and I really couldn't love them the same way I could with a lot of the early movies. 

I LOVED Wade and Logan's dynamic throughout the entire film. Their pair is so fucking fun to watch. AND THE SUITTTTTTT AAAHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!! I was also heavily skeptical about the suit when I first heard about it, since the colors are so bright, the mask is so bulky, I was very scared it was going to look stupid. BUT AGAIN I WAS SOOOOO WRONGGGG IT LOOKED FUCKING AWESOME ESPECIALLY NEXT TO DEADPOOL'S SUIT !!!!! I'm never getting over this movie, it was beautiful, funny, Hugh Jackman is such an incredible actor. The way he can deliver some of the most rage filled lines, but still compliment Ryan Reynold's comedic performance is so perfect. 

Last year we got Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3 and this year we got Deadpool and Wolverine. Both some of the best super hero adjacent movies I have seen in a while. So fucking fun to watch, and I cannot wait to go see Wolviepool in theaters again, it was so fucking awesome.
