 No living soul dared linger or roam,

 As if it was built to be forgotten, a forsaken home.

 Amid the rustling trees, two eyes glowed red,

 A sinister presence in the shadows fed. 

A growl so fierce, it pierced the night,

 From the bushes emerged a dog, a fearsome sight.

 A massive black beast, a wolf’s dark kin, 

Dragged a corpse with blood-soaked grin.

 Under the moon's pale, eerie light, 

It raced to a grave with frantic might. 

Digging zealously, it unearthed a bone, 

A skeleton stripped, left alone.

 Standing tall atop the skeletal frame, 

The dog barked loud, licking the skull in a twisted game. 

It stepped back, biting itself in savage glee, 

Blood dripping, seeping into the bones with a plea.

 For half an hour, this ritual was done,

 Then it leaped from the grave, awaiting the sun.

 A triumphant scream from the grave did cry, 

"Two centuries beneath, you cursed, now die!"

 Flames ignited, with no clear reason,

 A towering figure emerged, a fiery demon.

 Tall and dark, with silver hair,

 Laughing as he burned in the night's cold air.

 The dog burned too, fur evaporating high,

 Transforming into a youth under the sky.
