The ramblings on a theory regarding death

Note: Hello welcome to the ramblings of me!! This is my first blog so i do apologize if it is botched or in any ways unorganized ^_^

What is death? What happens after it?

Death, in the context of a human, as it’s definition is when the human body is killed or ceases to have life. Murder, cancer, etc. But in another context, death can be almost a state of mind, specifically seen in depression or other mental health disorders. Causing a person to feel a lack of self or to experience the world as it is. Making “life” seem “dead” or plain in sorts.

But what happens after this?

The many theories of what happens after death has always seemed to intrigue me, even more so now as I reflect on the death of a family member which recently occurred. Many religions have concurred that there was a guaranteed safe haven or reincarnation for those who follow the rules and guidelines of said religions. While many non believers (or people who just have other opinions or beliefs about what may happen after death) have suggested theories pertaining/applying quantum theory. The quantum mechanics/theory explanation of death actually has multiple interpretations of what may happen to the soul/mind as death occurs. One of which being Quantum Immortality, the theory which interests me the most. The theory suggests, which also ties into the many worlds interpretation, the idea in which there is one universe but multiple realities strain and split off at every decision or measurement made in the main universe, sort of a “what if” type thing. sorry a lot of words! Starting from the top: The theory of quantum immortality suggests that after death occurs in one universe, there was another reality in which survival was possible and had..well- happened. Sooo when the body of one dies in one reality, the consciousness would transfer to the one in which they survive. Making it to where a person wouldn’t consciously feel their death or live through it. The theory is not as strong or as stable as other theories. The weak points being: when would someone finally die of age or any sorts if they kept transferring to another reality where they survived? or how complicated/multidimensional death is. Meaning it is not binary, as suggested by an article on Forbes or other scientific publications as they emerge.

This theory is not the best to explain the aftermath death, but I cant help but find solace or comfort in the thought that a loved one or anyone in general wont have to experience going out. Do correct me if i spread any misinformation I am just a teen after all who is saying more or pretending to know more than she thinks.

Thank you for reading the ramblings of me :-))
