it's kinda weird

how it appears out of nowhere

when you stay really still

doing nothing to stop it.

it's here, falling

slowly but surely.

it's easy to ignore but

soon you'll get sick.

but the rain will come

wash away the dust

down the drain

then flow into the ocean

and the cycle returns.

left untouched

i've become sick again.

but

am i selfish for

wishing you were as sick

as i am?

ah, it rained again.
