The History of Our Digital Footprint

I was reading a tori x jade fanfiction story on ao3 and it brought up how would be remember online in the far future. Imagining our internet history being used as a case study or history is really dissociating. Having them look back at our trending tiktok audios and how we used the internet as the first people to really be born into it. We think of the internet as normal and as something to the equivalence of breathing air since we've been using it all our lives but historically its very odd. Some future history teacher is probably going to be teaching a lesson on 2020 pandemic tiktok.
