Hey guys, it’s been a while but I could use some help now; I’m starting at a new school in the US soon (a private one) as an exchange student and I was just wondering how to make friends? I’m usually really anxious and shy in new enviroments, I used to be very friendly and extroverted but as I grew older it kind of switched up. The change was most dramatic in the past year and a half and I don’t know what to do. I would appreciate some tips, thanks. :)

Maybe you could search for people online from ur class and start to talk with them, this is how i got my best friend
I’ll try but they’re all these rich kids and tbh I’m scared to even follow them on insta or message my host-sister lol. But if I find the courage, I’ll update you. :) Thank u for being kind

If there are any clubs on topics you're interested in, that's probably worth a shot? If not there's always the good ol "Hey is it cool if I sit here" at lunch
I would probably die of anxiety, looks like I’ll have to be mysterious. 🕵️
Anyway i signed up for choir but I’ve heard sm stuff about choir kids that I’m now scared.
