Remembering the ones who lacked guts and those who dared
Life is getting funky
Our sides are getting chunky
Life is what you make it, ain't no way to fake it

People getting older, kids are getting bolder

The leaves are falling down and the air is getting colder
You grew up with your eyes on the stars
Never believing your goals were set too far
You were young and not afraid to shoot for your dreams
Now you're a pessimist, or so it seems

It's a winter frost and times been lost
Changing seasons
You missed on the toss and paid the cost
Seasons are changing and years are flying by
So are the dreams unseen
What happened, why didn't you try?

Maybe it's not too late for a change of fate
Don't be afraid to take a chance
Just do your best and hold your stance
But if you don't make it, things could be worse
It's not the end, it's not a curse
You're just changing seasons, it's the only reason
