Creatures of Sonaria kind of fell off. Don't get me wrong, I love the game. It's complex, the open-world environment is so incredibly detailed and vast, and it's so much fun playing as different characters. But, when I say it fell off, I'm mostly talking about players' attitudes.
I've been playing the game since I was 13, so that makes me a player of about 4 years now. I LOVED it when I first started, and I'd obsess over it for hours. It was so fun playing with others of both the same and different species, and growing your creature was always so cool. As the initial magic of such a game faded, I found that I still liked it, just not as much as I used to. This was mainly because people were being real jerks: killing other players for no reason at all.
I usually play with higher-tier creatures, meaning that they take a bit of time to grow (at least an hour or more). Being killed by a much, much more powerful creature as a baby is so frustrating because you lose all your progress if you don't have a way to revive them. Most good creatures (AKA the ones with good damage abilities) cost TONS of in-game currency (Shooms) or lots of Robux, which can be hard to deal with.
I'm going to end this ramble by saying that Creatures of Sonaria is a wonderful game, and I'm sure many others think so as well. I'd just wish that people weren't so mean on it, and I hope that the notion comes to greater light soon. :P
