Dude. This concert was off the fucking chain. We get there at 7 something, which is late but we got there just in time. Entheos had just come out and the fun was beginning.
We're pretty far back, honest to god I couldn't see shit (I'm 4'9, so that doesn't help). Chaney (lead of Entheos) asked if we had any crowd surfers tonight, one of the guys i was with asked if i wanted to. I obviously jumped at the chance to go up. I crowd surfed to the front of the stage, and when I got down Chaney held my hand. It was fucking magical, she is so sweet. They did almost drop me though, my head touched the floor.
Chelsea Grin's set was fucking AWESOME. The lights were so cool and I took so many videos, it was truly an experience. By this time I was starting to get closer to the barricades, I could see well and let me fucking tell you bitches something. Tom Barber is SO hot. He is absolutely fucking gorgeous. Nobody told me he was THAT hot. Like I knew he was eye candy but HELLO??
Anyways, moving on from that simp fest. As I Lay Dying, we were right at the barricades. No crowd surfing for me, but at least I'm RIGHT THERE. Ken Susi was playing bass for them, and he looked SO good. Somewhere along the lines he came over to my side of the stage and I waved at him, he waved back at me and blew me a kiss. He also did the call me sign. I am living the dream. Tim (lead of As I Lay Dying) came over to my side of the stage and I waved at him, he waved back. Couple songs later I decide to leave my spot and go get in the pit. The ones at Bleeders were circle pits, this one was very much so not. It was so much fun, my first actual pit, my first time crowd surfing. Everything. This is a year of firsts.
After the show we hung out for a bit, and I got to meet Chaney!! She was so sweet, she held my hand and gave me a really good hug. I got to take a selfie with her!! Her makeup was really cool.
