MONASTERY RECORDS BLOG 31/07/24 - THE RETURN + MONASTERY-007

monastery records is officially back!! apologies for the 2 month long absence... though, in celebration of our return, i've decided to release a second ep. you can listen to it here!


there's not much else to say, other than this: i've started making preparations to get some monastery records releases released physically!

i'll be honest. this has technically happened already. a few months ago, i got a copy of "tell it to my lard" pressed on cd by kunaki - however, it was a one off pressing, and it wasn't exactly intended for distribution. i think i should mention that, for physical releases, i will not be using kunaki. instead, i've started looking to other manufacturers. it'll take a while, since most only offer 100 copies as the smallest pressing (which is bloody expensive, and the reason why vinyl pressings won't be seen for a long time). i'm confident it'll happen, however!

any physical releases will be sold through the monastery records site, which i am still working on as of right now. i'm only focusing on cd for now, though. maybe i'll consider a cassette release in the future?
