The holidays.

  As we get older and things in life change, we start forgetting what the holidays are really about, its not about the gifts or how much someone can spend. People forgot that the holidays are the time where family and friends come together and spend time with each other. My mom always tried so hard to make the holidays great for my sister and I, and it always wasn't. See things never go as planned, but she always tried. Lately this time of year hasn't been the same since I lost my mom. This year I realized why my mom always tried so hard, and it wasn't the gifts, it was the fact that she was trying to teach of something. See I have two boys of my own now, and I sit here wondering what to get them, but see I figured out what she been trying to show me. Im not the riches person and I suck at saving money, but its the fact that I spend the holidays with my boys and really thats the best gift to have. This holiday don't get mad if you didn't get what you want, just look at who is in your life, because those people around you is the best the gift you could ever ask for.
