Addicted to coelacanths now. (hyperfixation i think, idk how to tell if it's one)

(I wrote this yesterday, but now I'm just adding links to everything)

I’ve somehow gotten myself addicted to another thing, coelacanths (see-low-canth).

The other thing that I was addicted to for like a week or two was Octonauts. Guess what, they were both caused (the addictions/hyperfixations/idk a better name) by science lessons.

With Octonauts we had to make a poster about the reproduction of an animal, and I chose the Coconut octopus which reminded me of Octonauts.

And with the coelacanth we had to watch The Inconvenient Truth and in it there was an image/silhouette of a coelacanth along with other animals when they were talking about climate change causing animal extinction. After a quick read of the Wikipedia article about coelacanths, by the time that The Inconvenient Truth had been made, people knew that coelacanths were in fact not extinct, so I'm a little confused as to why they included a coelacanth, but i guess they're just uneducated on fish. (Coelacanths were re-discovered off the coast of South American in 1938, and the movie/documentary was released in 2006)

Another amazing thing is that they both relate to each other because Octonauts has an episode where they find a coelacanth.

I was watching a video about people that went diving trying to find a coelacanth and their reactions were amazing.
(Spoilers btw of the video)
(also this is the video)
(also as context the video has subtitles because the speaking it hard to understand underwater)
(another thing, I'll link the video to the exact time of the thing I'm explaining)

They were going to go back up to the surface because they could find anything and it had been 15 minutes, but then they had to find someone because they weren’t with them. (scene here

When they had found the person, they saw that there was a coelacanth, so yayaya. But it’s the person’s reaction (and the subtitles) that was the best. The guy said “Holy shit!” out of shock, and you could clearly hear it even though he was underwater, but because the people that put the subtitles on wanted it to look like they’re fancy and doesn’t swear, it read “Behold!”. (scene here)

The guy next said “there’s a fucking coelacanth!”, but the subtitles said, “what a truly magnificent creature.” (scene here)

He then proceeded to chant “coelacanth, coelacanth, coelacanth” and yet again, the subtitles read “I am humbled to be in the presence of the evolutionary wonder” (scene here)

It’s hilarious. I love it.

Also random thing, does anyone just drink a beer's worth of milk?
I love this cup. It has all the measurements for alcohol on it, but all I use it for is either water, milk or milos. (The top two are light beer and mid strength if you can't read it)
