I honestly am all for a series/interest that has lots of media to consume. Especially as a person who tends to binge things rather quickly. So while a lot can be great. Sometimes creators lose their integrity of quality over quantity. It's honestly such a sad sight. For me I'd definitely have to say Pokemon. As one of the many pop-culture relevant games, content isn't between few and far. But that's apart of the main problem. I feel like its so upsetting to see how disappointing Pokémon violet/scarlet was considering its update lifespan and just how many bugs were in a game that felt so unpolished for such a large company. But due to its dedicated fanbase, Profit will insure anyways.
Whats that one franchise you feel has gone on too long?

The Sims franchise for sure. The previous games (TS1, TS2, TS3) were fun and challenging. Even the portable and console versions (DS, 3DS, PSP, PS2 etc). I feel like when the team worked on The Sims 4 after scrapping MMO theme of it, they just didn't knew who to appeal to, so the final result felt quite boring. And even after many years, many updates and many cash-cow expansion packs... it's still boring. It's nothing but a cash cow and I'd rather play The Sims 2 (with or without mods).

What the other commenter said, FNAF. i remember being super hyped for Security Breach and then it turned out to be kinda ass and that's when i realized that we did not need this game at all.
Even then, i still kinda enjoyed security breach. it was just really unnecessary
