My last blog post got a little dark, but I have decided that's okay because life gets a little dark sometimes. Even in the darkest times, turn on a flashlight, or whatever.
The good news is, I spent my day connecting with new human beans, I spent some time with my best friend, and I did, in fact, listen to my Bubblegum Glitter Summer playlist with the windows rolled down. And I pet my cats a lot. All of the serotonin inducing things.
My point is, all it takes is one good day to ease the burden of that darkness. I feel lighter, and I'm looking forward to the rest of my summer and the plans I'm making. That dark place felt smothering at the time, but I pulled through, I always do. But sometimes it is hard to remember that in the moment.
Just know if you're having your dark moment, it's okay to have it, but things will get better and livin will get easy again. And know that I'm always here if anyone needs to talk. <3

As my mom always says, "We'll get through this, too."
So far that has always been the truth, and heck, even when death eventually comes, I won't be there to suffer from it. Anything short of that can be survived and eventually learned from. Some things break us, but like kintsugi, those cracks are what make us beautiful and unique.
This is such a great way to look at things, thank you for your inspiration!
