I noticed a pattern when experience the World Wide Web. It wasn't obvious at first, but as I kept exploring the environment, I felt more and more aware
Why does nobody want to talk to each other? I would absolutely love to make friends and talk to people, but I never knew how difficult it was for other people to do. Humans in reality are very social beings, but it seems like a different story digitally.
It is already difficult enough trying to find someone who has a bunch of the same interests as I do, and it's another can of worms to even try talking to them in the first place... Everyone is so depressed and lonely, and yet they don't even want to talk to anyone, it's a very strange and unhealthy mental gymnastic to have

I feel lonely but I don't like talking to people very much

honestly i kind of understand it though. for me, i find that approaching people first is almost scarier online than in real life because you have no way to verify peoples identities like you can in real life, you just have to trust them. because of this anonymity, a lot of people dont feel comfortable trusting the people they see online in more private settings as its much easier for people to mask both their true identities and their true feelings.
