I just finished reading Johnny the Homicidal maniac about a day ago and I loved it!! Now, instead of talking about the story, I wanted to take a moment and talk about the art. now I don't think its any secret that I love Jhonen Vasquez's work (my icon is dib LOL) and his stuff in JTHM is striking! I love how he draws expressions, and his art has a level of pointiness I ADORE.

alright I did put this one^ down because I thought he looked very cutie pie there (guy whos talking about a murder) BUT STILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has a level of expressiveness id love to implement into my own art someday !!!!!!!!
in conclusion, read Johnny the Homicidal Maniac if you haven't already, if not for the story then for the art, but the story is also very good

i remember i got a full volume with extra art for my 14th birthday and was sooo stoked!! after i finished reading it i literally got out some paper and attempted to make a comic of my own, i was OBSESSED with the style its literally so good and the epitome of 14 yr old me.
oh what!!! that's so awesome!! I'm so glad his stuff is so inspirational to so many people. :]
