about books

I dislike dark romance. I think its just horrible and unrealistic, why are these grown woman on booktok reading it? I mean this is just my opinion. and honestly the amount they read I'd even call overconsumption. And whats so wrong with books with no romance. Maybe I'm on the wrong side of booktok idk but I'm kindda done with the book community. All the books seem the same and I can't find anything interesting to read.
