summer heatwave and a desperate need for school again

hihihi!!!! this is just a rant about the RIDICULOUSLY HOT TEMPERATURES and the fact I wanna go back to school :3

first up, let me just state that I DONT LIKE SUMMER NO MORE. every day the temperature is something above 90 which is REALLY warm for me :( 

I've been wanting to go outside and actually DO SOMETHING instead of sitting in my room scrolling on spacehey and YouTube all day 😢 but the temperature is TOO HOT TO DO ANYTHIN. NOTHIN. ITS BURNIN UP HERE and I cannot FATHOM how people even closer to the equator than I am are doing!!! :,(

And the worst but best part: SCHOOL IS STARTING IN TWO WEEKS FOR ME!!!! its starting later than it did last year and I kinda hate it for that because WHY CANT IT START EARLIERRRRRRRRRRRR :((((((((

i'm going into eighth grade (as of July 2024) and seventh grade was pretty decent in terms of work difficulty, and i'm honestly really excited!! I just hope that what people say about eighth grade being the worst year of their life won't happen to me, because people also said that about seventh grade and yet it was actually better??

But anyways, the worst part about it starting is that I'm gonna have to walk to school EVERY DAY. possibly. My house is almozt exactly a mile from my school, so idk if I'm gonna be able to ride the bus or not :/

But the best part about school, also the best part about walking to and from school, is that I can literally just hang out wherever right after school and tell my mom I was just at the library!! (There's a public library next to the school I'm yapping about) there's this cool railroad underneath a bridge that's just within walking distance, and I hang out there a lot and chill after school :3

And after writing all that, I am starting to realize that I may be close to accidentally doxxing myself, so I'm gonna shut up about that :x

Hopefully, since global warming and stuff, maybe winter won't be as cold and annoying as last year (; -_-)

But yeah!!!!!!! THIS PLACE STINKS!!!!!! I WANT SCHOOL AND ACTUAL STUFF TO DO IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!
