I just finished the entire arc, so my thoughts are a bit scrambled! I thought it was exciting and the action was really cool but what bothers me is Nobara Kugisaki's death. It just felt very sudden!
I guess it could be seen as a "art imitates life" situation, cause death can be really sudden irl, but I feel like her death wasn't given as much care as the other character deaths we saw. Like, compared to Kento Nanami's death, I feel like it's really unfair! I understand that their fights/opponents were different and Kento was some kind of role model/mentor figure to Itadori, but wasn't Nobara close to Itadori too?
I know we got to see some of Nobara's backstory, and we got to know her friend Fumi, I just didn't think it was very satisfying. Fumi's introduction and the cut to present day Saori just felt very out of place to me!
I realize this has just turned into me complaining about Nobara's death. I do actually want to hear other fan's opinions on the arc! Feel free to leave a comment about what I talked about, or what your thoughts were!
I might make another blog post after I re-watch the Shibuya Incident, if my feelings change or I have something else to talk about.
