ufo cuff for my dad's friend + little story

a few years ago when i first got into kandi, i found a bunch of beads that my dad's friend had got for my brother and i when we were little. i maybe never would have made anything if i didnet have beads on hand, so i kind of feel like i owe all my years of kandi making to her. even though she moved when i was pretty little and i haven't seen her since.

but! she's coming to town for my dad's birthday next week, so i thought it would be cool to make something for her. she used to work at NASA and i know she had a cat named rocket, so i made a ufo cuff with little rocket beads and a spacey color scheme :) (the rocket beads are some of my favorites, but i hadn't found a good use for them before making this, so i'm also very glad to have an excuse to make something with them finally)
