Hey SpacesSleepers (52): Messenger Bags

I think the most interesting part of my dedication to my masculine nature is the messenger bag that I wear. Every time I leave my house, I have a bag slung on my shoulder and beside my hip that has all my items. Not a pocketbook, they never truly felt big enough to carry my book nor my first aid kit and charging bank or any of my other items. There was something that always felt inherently me that was the messenger bag, even, no especially when I was a kid. Before I had a messenger bag, all I wanted was a messenger bag. I always thought they looked cool on the people who wore them. It felt, more than anything, like a bag full of possibilities.

I know it sounds quite dumb that I am made so happy by some bag that sometimes barely matches my outfit but it really does make me happy. I carry a lot of stuff with me all the time, one of my most defining features is that I have so much on me. Usually when someone needs something, I have it, simply because I prepare for the worst. Having a sturdy bag is on me of the most important things to me because of how much I prioritize the contents. Plus I really like the look of them for reasons I'm not even entirely aware of. There's something about the way they look that makes them seem so versatile to me while seeming not as annoying as a backpack. I don't mind backpacks too much but I find that they're ruined for me in my years of public school (07/29/2024).
