new puppy, bday prep, & therianthropy | weekly blog #2

welcome to westley's second spacehey blog post🫀. 

this past week was a solid 8/10. my partner & i adopted a 9 w/o lab puppy & named him denji (after chainsaw man lol - great anime so far btw). he's been with us a week now & has settled in very nicely. im very happy to have a dog, & our cat seems to like him well enough.

my birthday is in 2 days (july 30), so the next time this blog hears from me, i will be 23 ! i have actually already received a gift from my brother: a tomura shigaraki funko pop figure. & i bought myself a gift too technically lol. . . but it was a really good deal ! i bought a set of 2 kesha themed kandi bracelets from a seller on mercari, & they are literally set to arrive on my birthday lol. (side note: mercari has become my fav place to buy 2nd hand/handmade items, highly recommend.) i also went to a local thai restaurant yesterday which was soooooo so good. i will be going there more often as it is very vegan friendly. im obsessed with the curry i had. might go back next week too, who knows.

since adopting denji, i have become very aware of the fact i am a therian. i already knew this prior to adopting him, but having an actual dog around makes it crystal clear as i am in fact dogkin. my therianthropy is not something i'm comfortable with sharing openly as i am still learning about my identity & not everyone will understand or even take kindly to that sort of thing. i will be fairly open about therianthropy on here, though. so stay tuned for that.~
