Will I go from SFM to S2FM?

I love SFM, in fact, that's the only 3D animation Software I know and actually love. But I've heard in Dota 2 that there is a brand new version of SFM running on the Source 2 engine, I haven't got to install Dota 2 just for animation software, there are other ways, like paying the 58,99€ for Half-Life Alyx, or by installing Counter Strike 2.

There is also SteamVR home but I couldn't find the workshop tools.

I've seen from some YouTube videos that S2FM has some Lighting issues, I will write a blog post if I get my hands on Counter Strike 2 or Dota 2.
