WTF (storytime)

My parrents went to the beach, but I slept in. I woke up and I smelled something burning, but I figured it was coming from outside so I stayed in bed a lil longer. I get up and as soon as I open the door I see that the house is full of smoke and all the windows are closed. So I run to the kitchen and lo and behold, a pot of corn is on the stove on high heat. Just as I was about to call my mom she was calling me, I tell her about it and she gets all snapy like???? As if I'm the one who almost BURNED THE HOUSE DOWN. Never a dull moment in my house i guess.
