left is koi, whose family never suffered from the famine plaguing their country, so he was never sent to the void watchers. he honestly really enjoys eating! chocolate is his favorite lol
right is dove, and when his mother was threatened at gunpoint to give up her child, through some quick thinking she outsmarted the threat and got her child back. unfortunately, the organization still had its eyes on dove, and he was forced to go into hiding. he dyed his hair to throw off suspicion. I mean, secrecy is better than death, right?
