Giftgiving

What is the 'normal' amount of gifts for friends? Does there exist a minimum or a maximum out there? Like can you really feel bad for getting 'too much'? Or it isn't about the amount but how much you spend? Like I want to gift what's the best for my friends, but whenever it comes to a special ocasion like birthdays I spend hours thinking if I get it right,I don't want to overwhelm my friends but at the same time I could give them the whole world without any notice, I just like seeing people happy but I always get told that something is 'too little' or 'too much'

Also are handmade gifts better than bought ones? I think that people have very contrasting views on it, also asking since I'm low on money and there's bunch of birthdays coming up and things to celebrate

hm, I believe you should try putting the same effort, care and attention that your friend gives to you. It might not be shown in the same way you did, but it should be equal sided.(aka maybe one likes gifting, the other words of confirmation or helpful acts) Also hand made gifts are sweeter, at least in my opinion, but they depend on the receiver:DD crochet is of course excellent for many! and another sweet and cheap gift is just writing a personalised letter to that person:))

if you care for them very dearly, then go for the bigger present:DD but dont forget smaller presents are sweet too, you wont go wrong with them either
