awesum splatoon shit

i loooooveeee splatoon. Literally one of my favorite games. I've been obsessed with it for like 10 years (I may not be normal) so now I will give awesum facts about the game because yes

The very first concept of the game was grey tofu like blocks shooting lighter/darker shades of gray

before squids and octopuses (octopi?) the species was going to be rabbits then it went to Nintendo characters until we got inklings and octolings.

The only original weapon to not be in any other game is the dual squelcher (not the dualie version) the dual squelcher has only been in Splatoon 1

The oldest characters in game are Craig cuttlefish and DJ Octavio being most likely around 110 years old

There are many fruit in game different from IRL fruit these being: squid leg grape, squid orange, squiddymelon, and the squid fin lemon. A cool fact about the squiddymelon is that the inside changes color depending on what ink color is on it

There are multiple timers in wahoo world (not as cool but hey kinda silly)

There are MANY different versions of Calamari Inkantation, the ones I can remember are: Calamari Inkantation (splatoon 1) Spicy Calamari Inkantation. (splatoon 2) Calamari Inkantation 3MIX (splatoon 3) the Calamari Inkantation that plays during inner agent 3, that part of Calamari Inkantation that plays during the poem during Octo Expansion, The splatfest varients, The final fest version in splatoon 2 (the trailer). (Theres also the motifs but that would make this longer xd)

The 2014 version of splattack sounds more human instead of the garbly vocals (it sounds better in the actual game release)

The octoling Amiibo spoke in broken english in splatoon 2, but in splatoon 3 they now talk more normally (though it feels like its from a textbook..that could just be me looking to deep into it thought)

Captain 3 (aka old agent 3) is the only playable agent that has appeared in all 3 games, splatoon 1 being playable, splatoon 2 octo expansion saving you and being a boss, and splatoon 3 as the captain of the new squidbeak splatoon

There exists splatoon manga, apparently some of it isn't good and there are MANY pansting scenes, I've never read them though

There are some splatoon plushes, these being: the squid form plushes, callie, marie, marina, pearl, splatoon 1 inkling boy and girl, and the splatoon 2 inkling boy and girl (There are the Sanrio splatoon pearl and marina plushes but they REALLY fucked up marina's skin color ;-;)
