i got on this website to make friends and talk to ppl, but i'm CONSTANTLY bombarded with friend rqs from ppl who add me and never engage!! idk why somebody would do that in the first place, but i specifically asked on my profile to NOT do that, but ppl can't seem to know how to read (or want to)!
and don't even get me started on ppl that say on their profile they "want to meet new people and chat ^_^" but when you actually try to talk to them their answers are "thank uu" "oh yeah lol" or simply "yes/no". it's even better when they don't reply to u for days despite being online and active

this is exactly why i left SpaceHey!!! i made my first acc around 3 years ago, lots of friends but NOBODY TALKED TO ANYONEEE!!!! so i left, but im giving it a 2nd try! fingers crossed (;-;)

The original MySpace and Facebook were much the same. Ya gotta sort through all the garbage people who just want to use you to boost their friend count and find the people that want to talk to you. It takes persistence.

I personally am friends with a some people I don't talk to but I don't pay it to much mind to it recently when a user sends me a friend request and they have more than 1000 friends I just don't accept it

Ahh ! I'm new to this website but the thing is that i'm pretty shy with starting conversations.. even though i really do want to start them! I'm always worried that i'm going to encounter dry texters, so i secretly hope someone will text me first, haha.. i think i'll start putting more effort into texting people first though ! i really do like talking, honest ! Yeah I agree, im mostly really awkward and I normally wait for people to engage with me first but I end up looking as cold <:(

i like to think its cause people r probably 2 shy 2 dm people or somethfin like that. and i admit, im a bit guilty of adding people and not interacting at all but i do try to interact wwith them via bulletins and blogs :,,u!!!
i just usually wwait 4 some1 to dm me first, as silly as that sounds
