sisters bond

me and my sister has always been close since we were kids, our bond was magical and fun, genuinely she was more of a mother figure to me than a sister. our family was never the best so while our brother had our moms affection more than us, we js sticked together. anyways, after 2022 me and her didnt talk much due to drama that happened a while back. i noticed that she started to take a liking to our 6 year old cousin more than me. we went out last night to have some time for ourselves, i told her about it and she said that ever since we cut contact, she missed me, but our cousin was there so she used her as a mechanism of me being with her daily. i understood that she js missed me and wanted to spend more time with me, but i still felt like she loves her more. trying to reassure me over n over again, i decided to trust her words. i really do love my sister but i will forever feel like a second choice to her.
