okay, so.
i've been thinking about getting back into writing in a longer form. i already kiinda do it on my tumblr, but tumblr's also somewhat of a cesspool of sorts (twt is even worse but you get me), neocities is too complicated for me and i was gonna resort back to tumblr buuuut then i saw a bsky mutual's profile and now, here i am (shout out to eden <3)
so. this will be a test run of sorts. i'll make a few posts and we'll just...see how it goes?
i think for now my posts will be public but depending on the subject matter, the privacy may change Because I Can so lol.
anyways, that's it.

thank you, friend!! seeing yours and my friend june's accounts really helped me take that step towards joining ngl (and i love getting to mess with code a lil bit lol). also yeaaah, i like that! and--so far--people aren't being dicks about it? i also think it'll depend on what i write (like, im sure some poor unfortunate soul will think igaf abt what they think of me being a black trans masc dyke that has he pronouns or some shit lmao) but so far, it's nice :3

yeah i haven't encountered anyone being a jerk yet and if that does happen there's always blocking lol, but it's easy to avoid discourse since you can choose what communities and forum topics you wanna navigate

Literally Tumblr is such a dumpster fire right now. I mean I'm still there, but I will not be surprised if the site completely collapses within a few years lol
lol, yeah i think im at the point where i just use it for pictures and sharing go fund me's. i do think there are still good works written on there (people writing about IWTV kept me going during the first season; i still gotta watch the rest of season 2) and there are still decent people there, but it's not pawpin like it once was. and even with the site collapsing every few years, it's still nooowhere near as bad as twt is currently ajfjkaslf. i hope it (tumblr) doesn't collapse, bc i still think it has some worth, but also wouldn't be surprised if it did
