Higurashi is so cool I wish it wasn't also weird

Higurashi as a concept and stuff is so fun!!! and also i love the art style of the original game!!! AND IN THE ANIMES!!! AND THE ANIMATION IS SOSOSO GOOD AND THE CHARACTERS ARE SO SILLY (≧∇≦) big fan of Higurashi if you can't tell

HOWEVER!!! I HATE that they always do some weird things with the characters!!! they're literally all fourteen or younger so WHY IS THERE FANSERVICE??? THEY'RE CHILDREN!!!! it's so weird cause like there's stuff in the actual anime (and games probably but don't take my word on that lol) that doesn't have to be there and it's ughh gross! AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE MERCH??? WHY IS THERE SO MUCH??? WEIRD MERCH??? hell to all who buy that idk
