Like okay. I'm hyperfocusing. Kinda hyperventilating. Manually opening my eyes wider, cracking random ass dry jokes and laughing a bit. I sit there, in that convo, responding with things such as "mm, yes, I agree, aha, eureka!"
I feel like an npc. Straight up. I add nothing extraordinary to the conversation. My 2 extremely introverted friends (I love them don't worry) only agree to being dragged to the cinema once every blue moon, and never otherwise. Not even a graduation party, just because they don't like being outside. (I honestly get it, how do you even hold a convo outside school?)
Do normal people sit on a café and sip bubble tea as they stare into eachothers souls and talk about the weather? Like, I recently heard friends text eachother ON THE DAILY?
Like.. I've never experienced this stuff, just, HOW? Even my MOM commented "yeah no you're probably not that interesting to hang with like that 💀"
I'm straight up cooked. How do yall make convos, plans? How do yall even find friends?! I had to walk the same street with a girl for 20 min every day to school for a while before I uttered smth like "yeah idk how to do this but im tryna get to know you aha." UNTIL I REALISED WE WERE NEIGHBOURS. Insane clutch getting a friend, being FORCED to be around me when walking to school.
And ANOTHER time, I fricking handshook a girl beside me in class asking "wanna be friends?"
I heard giggles from the backrow and she just awkwardly smiled "sure..." Never sat beside me again. ...
I'm lowkey just praying I get adopted by an extrovert, but I'd probably be too dense to realise someone were tryna be friends with me.

YES, EXACTLY. LIKE HOW DO YOU START UP A CONVERSATION WITHOUT SOUNDING SO AWKWARD, PATHETIC, JUST PLEADING TO HAVE A CONVO. ESPECIALLY DURING THIS NEW SY, I survived the last grade with some support from close pals now I'm stuck with complete strangers.

Socialising is hard honestly, I can’t for the life of me imagine how people make friends outside of school. I have friends in school who were originally the friends of one of my classmates (and practically my only friend at the time). They’re nice people and I guess we get on well but they don’t share many common interests as me which makes convos hard, I’m also 1/2 of the oldest in this group of people so our maturity difference is well different in contrast I guess but I try not to comment on it much since I used to be pretty cringe 2 years ago too (still am). I’m rather quiet at school so doesn’t help the fact people probably already view me as rather odd. Idk man socialising is a mystery to me
RIGHT? It's so weird, and sometimes you just don't share interests but still find them nice to hang with. But hey, age difference is fine so dw! everyone I speak with at least is usually few years older and ik idrm. :)

Yeah that’s true, I’d rather hang out with nice people who are 1-2 years younger than me than people my age who don’t even want me around
