FAMILY HAMBURGER RECIPE!!!

Fast Food DividerFast Food Divider

Introduction

Hello! I haven't seen many recipes here in SpaceHey, so today I want to share an easy recipe for burgers! I know you could all easily go to a fast food chain or a restaurant, or buy the meat already done, but these homemade burgers can be ideal for meal-prepping, or having people over, or family!

So I hope you enjoy this recipe, and let me know if you try it and what you think!

Ingredients

Realistically, it's impossible for me to know everybody's allergies, so I will try and provide alternatives to those who may have certain allergies! You will need:

  • 3 pounds of ground beef
  • 6 tablespoons of oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon of chicken powder
  • A pinch of garlic powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of pepper
  • 1 egg (you can skip the egg if you're allergic to them)
  • 5-6 squirts of Worcestershire sauce
  • Hamburger buns (can be sesame seed-free, or gluten-free)
  • The vegetables and condiments of your choice!

Process

It doesn't get easier than this! You just put all the ingredients in the bowl (except the bread, vegetables, and condiments), and mix them together with your bare hands. If you have sensory issues, you can always use gloves as well!
Once all the ingredients are combined together, you make patties (don't be afraid to make them big, they will shrink when you cook them on the stove or grill). You should have around 8-10 patties, depending on how big you make your patties!

When cooking them, make sure they are thoroughly cooked. Try by cutting the meat while it's cooking, to make sure the inside is already cooked! You can also use the time it cooks to start cutting up vegetables, like tomatoes, lettuce, or mushrooms if you're into that!

Once they're done cooking, just assemble them, and you have your own homemade burgers!

If you're looking to meal prep, you can just keep the patties raw, or cook them, wait for them to cool down, and put them in the fridge!

I hope you enjoy! And if you have any tips on how to make this recipe better, let me know!
