My theories and personal opinions! (I WILL BE ADDING ONTO THIS!!)
William motive theory:(I’M GOING TO EDIT THIS )
WHY DID WILLIAM KILL THE KIDS!?!
Nah, cause think about it.
Six kids? Zero correlation to each other besides age and the pizzeria? No motive?
I THINK NOT!!
I think I know why... GRIEF!!And before you all yell "But remnant?"- REMNANT IS BOOK ONLY!
^^So made remnant might be involved, BUT IT’S NOT THE REASON HE KILLED THE ORIGINAL SIX AND IT’S ONLY THE USE, NOT THE DISCOVERY!
But the below statement still applies.
Plus! Even if it wasn't, the time it was discovered doesn't line up properly with the murders and supports the obviously false "Every animatronic is a murder" theory. Grief on the other hand explains it better and gives reason for several things!
First, "How is it grief?". Well my dear reader, the murders happen as Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, AFTER Fredbear's Diner and the DEATH OF(sue me but I'm calling the crying child Chris) CHRIS AFTON! So it only makes sense that William is grieving over the death of his own son.
Now on to "So why would that lead to murder?". Simple. William doesn't know how to grieve. He's probably a tired work obsessed man who's never experienced any true loss in his life. Chris' death would've ROCKED HIS WORLD!! So, instead of just silently seething like most parents would, he took action. It worked for his business, so why not this? Not to mention, imagine losing your son to your creation, at your establishment, to your another one of your child, on your son's birthday no less. I doubt you'd be thinking straight either!
William decides to get back at the world for taking his son by taking other people's children away from them, formulating the plan over years and testing it on none other than the child of his own co-owner, Charlotte Emily!
William kills the kids but he's not satisfied. No one else seems to be feeling to pain he did... SO HE GOES FURTHER!!! He begins designing the animatronics to assist in his revenge against life, hence the funtimes and hence why he knew Elizabeth shouldn't be allowed near Circus Baby!
But now, in the background, there's Michael. Regretting his past and wanting to make it up to his father, so when William "dies" in the springlock suit, it seems only logical to help continue his father's business in their passing, HENCE THE DUMBASS DECISION TO WORK AT CIRCUS BABY RENTALS AND STICK IT OUT TILL THE END AND THEN HIS BOMBASS DECISION TO OPEN A FREDDY'S LOCATION OF HIS OWN!!
"So why doesn't William die-" CAUSE HIS GRIEF IS KEEPING HIM ALIVE!! William isn't dying because he's still running on his desire to get his revenge on life, hence why playing kids sound pull him away from the office in fnaf 4, and why he chooses to hang around in fnaf 6(and technically SB) William isn't living off of remnant like some would have you believe. No. He's running on grief and a hatred for the cards life dealt him! William is running off of remnant, but the remnant is strengthened and powered by his grief and anger at life.
Back to Micheal. He's now probably realised how evil his dad is, and with help from Henry(Maybe, that's a who sub-theory to get into) he tries to kill William once and for in in the fire...
Shoutout to my bestie, Tuna, for correcting me on this. Henry caused the fire(My ass completely forgot about the speech that happens during it (T w T ))
BUT WILLIAM ALWAYS COMES BACK!!! As long as William still feels resentment towards life, he'll always come back and find new ways to satisfy his revenge plan, hence help wanted and his attempt to possess(I'm sure that isn't whats happening but eh, I'll get into it another day) the player and use of Vanny to get Gregory in SB!
TLDR: William doesn't know how to grieve and decided murder would help him
Feel free to correct me if I messed anything up or if you want to add on! :3
