myspace memories

When I log onto spacehey, the myspace memories just smacks me in the face. I had some good and bad memories. It was mostly good memories because myspace was my place to escape from the real world. I miss that. Now, the real world is all over social media. It's a different feeling now. I didn't have friends, so I would use myspace, bebo, black planet, tagged, hi5, and teenspot to find people. I talked to all kinds of strangers. I didn't care the age, sex, location. I just wanted someone to give me attention. I craved attention because I wasn't getting it in high school. I could go online and be whatever version of myself I wanted to be. I could express myself on my page without having to speak. Now, social media is all a show, which is fine. It's evolving and growing. I'm also doing the same, but I miss that safe space.

I miss all the myspace chat rooms, music pages, street teams,  and endless amounts of layouts/graphics.  I remember spending time trying to find celebrities private pages, but there were so many fake ones. I think I once submitted photos to a big modeling agency's  contest. I thought I was going places lol. I had graphics of britney spears, playboy, bow wow, nelly, carmen electra, laguna beach, justin timberlake, etc all over my page. rihanna's unfaithful, kelis' bossy, kaci brown's instigator, young dro's shoulder lean, I smoke I drank, linkin park's in the end were some songs on my page.

I know An will do a great job with bringing some great features while keeping it simple. 

I hope that spacehey fills the void for the younger kids who needs a place to escape. A place different from any other social media platform that isn't saturated by selling the latest bullshit.
