Monday, September 5th, 2022 My Chemical Romance / Waterparks #1
A new type of blog I'm trying where I make lil concert diaries for some of the most memorable shows I've been to over the years!
Date: Monday, September 5th, 2022
Venue: Scotiabank Arena - Ontario, Canada
Memorable Moments - Waterparks' Set:
- Austin (lead vocalist of Waterparks) waving to my friend and I during the first song of their set
- Geoff constantly interacting with the lil group of us standing up in the stands for their set. It was really sweet.
- Hearing Real Super Dark live before it was officially released. Bangerrrrr
- Meeting Waterparks after the show. Even though I wasn't too familiar with their music, they put on an awesome show and were very nice! I got to hug each of them.

Memorable Moments - My Chemical Romance's Set:
- Gerard Way walking out in a fucking cat costume (and proceeding to roll around on the ground in it multiple times during their set).
- Hearing the entire stadium sing Famous Last Words as loud as possible. I usually go to smaller DIY shows or non-stadium shows so hearing that many people sing a song together was very awesome.
- Getting to hear some of MCR's old bangers live!

Overall it was a really fun experience that I’ll never forget! Getting to see one of my favourite childhood bands was a dream come true. It was a night of magnificent nostalgia and all of the artists performing put on a great show. If I learn how to embed videos I’ll definitely post some that I took of both bands in the future. For now, this is all I got lmao. Thanks for checking out my blog! <33
