Ever since I played FFVII last year I wanted to cosplay something from it cuz it's become one of my favorite games. So I decided to go with Aerith, I really like her as a character and her outfit was fairly simple to make. I based the cosplay on the Dissidia and Advent Children design of Aerith.
The hardest part to make was the staff since I'm not very experienced in making props but I am really happy with how it turned out! I made it out of a wooden broomstick and for the thicker parts I used foam pipe insulation which I covered in EVA foam. I also made the bracelets out of EVA foam.
I sewed the dress and hairbow myself, and the jacket was made from a thrifted jean jacket that I cropped on the waist and sleeves. When I have some more money I'm probably gonna get a better wig cuz I'm not super happy with how this one looks and fits on my head. I might try to cut it and make a better hairline but I'm gonna go to a convention in a couple days so I don't wanna risk messing it up. 😬

Looks really good Lumi, no difference from an outfit I looked up on the net. Creating that all by yourself is amazing! How much do you need for the wig?

I don't really know yet, I haven't really looked at it. I had to spend quite some money on all the rest of the materials for the cosplay so I have to save some money for now haha.
