In a generation where the use of technology in education or reading has become so normalized, I need to know those lovers who still like libraries...
I am a student, and I use a lot of media such as textbooks, educational magazines or libraries.
I really don't want it to die. More and more students are using media such as AI, and not giving a book a chance...
And probably in the future more and more people who work with books won't have a job. And only authors will dedicate themselves to publish books on the internet or, in the worst case, with AI..
Every time technology in society is increasing and old habits are being forgotten

i love my local libraries! there's two that i use pretty regularly and it's so nice to not have to spend any money to read so many books. and it gets me out of the house lol

Yeah! My local library is one of my favourite places to spend time in when I'm out. (especially during gap lessons) It's perfectly nice and quiet. There's not many too people around and I can just do whatever without feeling unwelcome or awkward. It's also cool to just walk around and explore all the different kinds of books the library has to offer.
I wish it didn't look so modern though. Feels kinda lifeless when everything's white and so... idk sanitary looking. I really long for those huge wooden bookshelves

I love libraries but I am also extremely germaphobic so I tend to be very picky when grabbing any books at a library at all. I guess it depends on the condition of the books in said library. I remember one time I repeatedly went to a library a few times to finish up reading this manga (it was a series compiled into one large book). I think I generally love the atmosphere of a library, it’s nice and cozy
