Messy Twilight Rant

I grew up being OBSESSED with the Twilight movies. I remember being in elementary school watching the movies in my mom's room. All the movies were poorly recorded btw. Since we had the option to record movies or shows in my mom's TV, we would ALWAYS record so we can watch it another time. The thing is though, neither of the people in my household would record something from the beginning until the end. So, I had to the watch the twilight movies from the middle to the end of each movie (sad ik). For example, the "Breaking Dawn" movie, I remember having to watch it from Bella and Edward's family and friends going up against the Volturi to the end. 

I got sidetracked a little bit.

ANYWAY

I've been rewatching the twilight movies since then, and as I got older, I realized that one: the acting was silly and two: books are better than the movie version. I must admit, I did not read ALL the twilight books except for the first book and a few chapters of the second but right off the bat, it was of course WAYYY better than the movies.

Listen, I KNOW that when it comes to making movies the producers/directors/movie production whatever they are called-have a budget. BUT I felt like the movie would've been SO much BETTER if they added more in-depth, important, and character-building scenes. 

Like did you guys know that the "Bella! Where the hell have you bee, loca!" and "You better hold on tight, spider monkey." WERE NOT IN THE BOOK??? LMFAO

Yes, it's cringe and funny. Yes, it's a meme and we people love to make fun of it and get a good laugh out of it, but there were some things in the book that they SHOULD HAVE added in the movie. I felt like it would've been taken a little bit more serious and maybe Robert Pattinson would've hated the movies less (cries).

For example, Alice's and Esme's story. I know Alice doesn't remember her human life, but I felt like it would've been SUCH a GOOD thing to add into the movie. James-the tracker who was after Bella, was after Alice when she was human. So, I felt like it would've gone well to add it in with the whole James going after Bella. PEOPLE MIGHT THINK OTHERWISE BUT THAT'S OKAY. I just feel like it would've been nice to add EVERYONES background story in the FIVE movies they made. Same thing with Esme, if they added Carlisle's story, they should've added Esme's since Carlisle was a part of her story. 

Anyway, in the book, yes Edward is a little creep, but somethings that happened in the book should've been brought into the movies to give a little more umph into Edwards character in the movies. I think it was the second book: New Moon, where Bella and Edward were in the car dropping her off home after getting injured during her birthday party at the Cullens. I'm not going to say it word for word because tbh I'm a little lazy to look for the page BUT, Edward does seem like he's utterly upset about what happened, and it shows more as to why he wanted Bella to stay human and the whole Bella being too good, and Edward is a monster thing. 

Bella, of course plays it off as if nothing happened. As if it's "normal" for such thing to happen to her. It seemed to bother Edward in a way and goes on to say that if it was normal then the worst that could happen was wearing a bandage around her finger, not having to need stitches on her arm. That for instance, if it was a party Newton threw, the reaction of Bella getting a paper cut would've been an "Are you okay? Let me get you a bandage." and not a VAMPIRE smelling her blood and launching themselves towards her. I just felt like it would've added more character to Edward and of course getting a sneak peek into Bella and Edward's relationship in a much deeper level. 

(I just remembered they DID film a scene like that, but it was DELETED UGGGHHHH WHHHYYYY)

But that's all I have for this blog entry; I do have more to say but I feel like for next time I should be more prepared with receipts and all. This feels a little messy but that's okay, I'll still post it. Let me know what you guys think though, was there anything I'm missing?? Did I say anything that was false from the books???
