circe by madeline miller

aaaah, this is now one of my all-time favorite books!! got so sad nearing the end because i knew it was almost over. a very personal look into many famous greek myths through the eyes of an immortal. i loved circe's pov and all of the characters in the latter half of the story (the first cast of characters were not as lovable). so glad circe got her happy ending

on another note: ariadne feels highly inspired / similar to this. basically circe but more tragic
