i hate thaumcraft

i already very much dislike thaumcraft as a mod now i'm playing e2eu and requiring progressing through it to progress in botania is driving me insane if you enjoy thaumcraft please tell me how should i play it in order to have fun because none of it has ever bringed me any joy
